Shipping on Squarespace with Printify

So you created products in Printify, linked printify to your squarespace store and ready to make money. You have one more step to make, and if you don’t make it, you will lose money. This step is setting up shipping.

If you are watching this video, you should have your store hidden is squarespace until you have finished the video and completed the steps. Also you should watch the official tutorial for Set Up Shipping on Squarespace by Printify before watching this video, as there are some things in that video that I will not cover. This tutorial is for people who sell a variety of products with a variety of print providers, so if that’s you, stick around.

Speaking of print providers, it will be a lot less stressful of you have the same print provider for the same type of product, eg; all your hoodies, t-shirts and sweatshirts are from the same print provider, all your canvas prints from the same provider etc.

If this is not the case, remake your items to have the same print provider. After you ensure you have -----your print providers, go to https://printify.com/shipping-rates/ and open your print provider in a new tab. Open your products and note the sizes options you have created. Prints on canvas and acrylic have vastly different shipping rates based on size so ensure you take note of the sizes of both the acrylic and canvas prints you have created.

For weight-based rates I’m not using the different weights literally as weights, but as different variations.

The transcript for this video will be available in the link below if you prefer to read a tutorial rather than watch the video.

Summary

Keep you shop hidden until you have finished setting up shipping on all your products. Ensure similar products have the same print provider. Look at the cost to ship your products and determine of you want to group products with similar shipping prices or not. To do this, click <commerce- shipping- add shipping option- flat rate- enter name (Location)> to create a shipping option for a particular item or group of items that ship to a particular location. Ensure the shipping location is available in the name of your shipping option.

If you are doing canvas wraps, posters and acrylic prints, make a note of all your print size variations. Go to “printify-com/shipping rates” and look for your print providers. Make a spreadsheet to visualize the shipping price for a particular size for canvas or acrylic.

Assign different number for different shipping cost. 2 or more items may have the same shipping price
